This photograph was taken in a displaced people's camp in Kathmandu Nepal. After the devastating earthquake many found themselves homeless so various organizations set up temporary shelters. This infant was born 7 days after the quake, a new beginning, a new hope. (5 years and 731 days ago)

Such a simple image but comes across really strongly and although the cow should be on the left to walk into more space it works in this.
Hi thank you for your comment. I sure wish more people would comment on the images...makes this site feel rather hollow if you know what I mean.
I think tho, that the more we give the more chance others will come forward with comments. I have a few ideas on how to get more people to comment but it is not my site. ahhhh well.

At a dairy cattle sale. These have been raised by the students from when they were calves, and the humans get pretty sad when they see them go. (5 years and 881 days ago)

I had already put up that farmer and newborn cow in the past and although I checked my profile and didn't see it there pyxleyes pointed it out to me...again I felt like an idiot. Wonder if I will ever catch on to the workings of this site. Are you going to leave TOS or when is your membership up?
