Maybe if you cropped out (or zoomed in if it's accessible for another shot) some of the less rusty links to emphasize the corrosion more.

What a great photo! The storm clouds in the distance set this off beautifully, and the focal detail is stunning, especially the clam shell on the left hand side. Makes me want to know the story behind those chains being there...Nicely done!
