Here there are two sources of light. One at the other end acting as a back light, and the other from the skylight illuminating part of the alley to show some detail half way down. (5 years and 2677 days ago)

Thanks! When I took this picture, I didn't even know what DOF stands for
I like the idea of this shot, light and framing are great, but the focused area is not sharp enough.
I would agree with that, if it were just a tad bit sharper it would definitely make for a stronger picture. Thanks for the advice
