This is such a lovely scene. It is unfortunate that it is soft because it needs to be brilliantly sharp to show off the texture of the walls, the patterns which engage us quickly. Just this morning I received a great article on the importance of tripod use for landscape photographers. I have attached it for you to read and enjoy.

Well, it was just after a big rain and the light was dim... Soft maybe but I still like the atmosphere it gives, Still.
Thanks for the article. Unfortunately I can't spend $1000 on a tripod. Anyway I can't take a tripod with me when I travel for 3 weeks on a motorbike. A toothbrush, a raincoat, but no tripod, no hairdryer, no computer. So should I stop photographing, or submitting bad pics to this contest???
