This is a metaphorical image that brings to mind "Him". I find this to be a very intimate image and therein lies its strength. You could have easily used a gradient tool at perhaps 15 % to draw in the corners and make "Him" pop out at us even more. Technically well done, sharp, well contrasted, the ice is white
not blue, good exposure. Overall a lovely post.
