If I were you I would flip this on the horizontal, most people read a picture from left to right subconsciously so its better if the interesting part is on the left of the shot, thats my 2 cents anyway, Awesome shot.
hahaha I commented and then voted, didn't realise I was giving advice to one of the best people on the site...
author, there is a strange halo effect around and within this image, can you tell what filter has been used please.
Off course MOD.
Raw file.
Increase clarity.
Sharpening.
Adjust shadows/highlights.
Increase contrast 3 in PS.
The flash fired above the frame diagonal & that in compination with increase contrast 3 maybe caused that effect.
Thats all..i have nothing to hide!
I am ready to give RAW & EXIF's if needed .
