When I was a kid, we didn't have all that much money in my family, and fresh berries were a rarity. Now, I love when summer comes around because I always have nice, fresh berry salads... and make sure my kids get heaping bowls full. (5 years and 3204 days ago)

Oh yes I know how that feels. Same here, where I came from, bananas were very expensive, so when I first came here, that's all I ate for a month, lol. Hard times make you appriciate what you have now, and so good to hear you make this extra effort for your family. = )
