how did you manage to get such unusual colour?
I'm not entirely certain...this is how it came out of camera on a 30 second exposure to try and capture the lightening. The bolt struck only 30 meters away and was exceedingly bright. Perhaps, that, in combination with the white balance set gave a purplish hue to the photo as the plasma ingnited?!?
