"Blinders," not "Blinkers" (Blinkers are the turn signals on the car)
a.k.a. wear blinkers to be ignorant or restricted in sight, as if wearing blinkers or blinkers blinkers are devices use to restrict the sight of horses.
You can now remove your blinkers
I always thought being 'blinkered' was referring to narrowness of vision.
Yes, that is how I knew the "blinkered" word. In the USA they say blinders and can't seem to see beyond them. :-O Thank you
Really nice portrait this and he looks a character,so as a saying goes, put that in your pipe and smoke it LOL
Fabulous portrait. Great detail in a wise face that is at peace. No intruding details in the background. Good depiction of the idiom as well!
Thank you mucho for your time.
I didn't know that idiom but it is good to know it now because I can apply it to a few friends of mine. You have really nice sharpness on the horse and his teeth and we can hear him laughing. The crop is apprpopriate and your dof is perfect.
I haven't heard of the idiom either. The photo is great - lots of character in the horse and its beautifully sharp. Black and white works really well here.

Yes, to b/w for it shows the textural quality well. Somehow your photo feels 'squashed' and for my eyes needs more marginal space all round, but you surely have focused well on the bridge.
thanks olga for the comments
