Took this in my light tent. Used a glass of water with ice and glow sticks. Put a yellow glow stick at the bottom of the glass and shot it at f5.6 for 30 seconds. While shooting I waved a purple glow stick behind the glass to get this effect. (5 years and 771 days ago)

Great catch, to bad about the blowouts. Are you shooting in A mode, if so time to bite the bullet and shoot in Manual you will have more creative control...try it.

Thanks for the suggestion! I have been experimenting with Manual, but I'm finding it difficult to make the quick adjustments to capture movement/action shots. For birds, I've been shooting in S mode to get a fast shutter speed. This, for example, was at 1/2500 sec, but I needed to crank the ISO up to 800 because of an uncooperative sun.
