Contest goal:

Many buildings, especially older ones, have details built into them to make them truly unique. From Victorian times to the Art Deco movement, and even a few modern buildings include small aspects that build art into a structure. It might be a pattern in the bricks, or statues or structures that are actually built into the design, but show us your best shots of these details. Do not just show a picture of a building. You should be emphasizing the detail.

This is a building for a power company, finished in 1932 in the Art Deco style. Much of its architectural detail is meant to symbolize the power of electricity, which was not as taken for granted in the 1930's. (3 years and 36 days ago)
