One of the things our city is known for is the "Tridge". It is where three bridges form one over the top of where three rivers come together. Surrounding the Tridge is a beautiful park. There are statues throughout the park and this one is named the "Couple".
With the quick warm spell we got in the Spring, the snow and ice melted quick and rain fell, which flooded the three rivers. Every year it floods but this year it caused a lot of damage and closed many surrounding roads. People were stuck in their houses and you could drive by and see people kayaking down a road instead of driving down it. Local news crews were on the scene when I took these pictures for the second day in a row.
This photo, to me, almost shows emotion in how the couple is watching their park flood over. (5 years and 2824 days ago)
