I like the photo a lot, I also think you did some good editing which enhances it a lot. However I wish you had help up a royal flush rather than the 3 cards.

You have a great subject here, but if you want to enter competitions, you need to take more care.
1. Try using a plain background
2. crop the dark edge at the bottom
3. the image looks soft, needs more light to lower the ISO, it's very noisy.

An ordinary table lamp could have provided the light, and a tripod is a great help.
