Single Motion - Photography Contest [10 entries]
Contest goal:
In this contest, shoot a subject that is in focus surrounded by other subject matter that is out of focus by means of motion blur. This is like the bokeh contest, but instead of a defocused background, you must portray movement in the surroundings by means of motion blur. As long as there is one subject in the image in focus with the motion blurred subjects, it is on theme. Have fun and good luck!

kyricom: I think these "average score" contests have forgotten to take into account that the scores on the photography contests are consistently, significantly lower that in the other areas. ( 5 years and 3097 days ago )
solkee: It's based on the last 20 entries you have submitted, so there is no way possible of knowing how many are eligible to enter by looking at the stats list. Check your profile and see what your score is under "Photo Last 20", that will let you know if you are eligible. I do agree that 59% is high though. ( 5 years and 3097 days ago )

kyricom: I think the stats jeaniblog is referring to is if you go to the "stats" tab at the top and go to "ranks," it will provide the different levels of the members. If, when your on that list, you click on the various categories at the top, it re-organizes the list for that category. So, by clicking on the average score, you can see there are only a little over 70 people who have 58% scores or higher. Look to the right of that and you see how many entries they have. You are correct in that it doesn't show the last 20 entries, but if you REALLY are just dying to know you could go to people's portfolios and figure it out. Doubt many would go to that kind of trouble. And, Mr.M has said in the forum that if you don't have 20 entries, it will go by what you have. BUT... it is far easier to have a high score if you only have a handful of entries (statistically, not talented-ly). ( 5 years and 3094 days ago )
