IT doesn't look like they've got to the 'letting' go part in their relationship. It's more like the 'how can we sneak out late on Friday night' part of it .

That's exactly what this image have to say.When the the children grow up,you have to let them go,have own life,new relationships.....It's the happy and painful moment when parents have to let go child to have it's own independent life.That's my vision.Much more then someone walking on the beach or park...Sorry, if we don't share the vision.

I can see that, but perhaps a portrayal of say, two parents holding each other as they watch their child drive off to college would have been a better way of showing it.

wow...well, yeah, except the story behind the picture. thats a Great Great Aunt of the baby. the baby is beingpassed back to the grandfather because Great Great Aunt is preparing to leave back to Kansas City. Reluctant to let go of the little one because she won't be seeing her again for a long while.

I guess from the other entries, you've marked alot of them as not a "PAINFUL" seperation, eh?
