( 5 years and 3256 days ago ) jawshoewhah: So fractals are ill regular patters, usually found in nature and close up. IT sounds like it could me almost anything without a consistent pattern. It's probably safe to say that any consistent pattern is not going to be on theme but please feel free to confirm. This one has definitely grabbed my interest. ( 5 years and 3256 days ago )
anarchick: em... i didn't exactly caught your point, i believe, but fractals do have a pattern that is repeated with some alternations each time, i.e different scale or color. Take as reference the broccoli, the snowflakes, the crystals.. i cant tell everything though cause that would spoil the contest! Hope i helped a bit... ( 5 years and 3255 days ago )
athousandwords: Do I understand this correctly? All of the shapes that make the object are to be the same shape as the object itself. For instance, making a triangle out of smaller triangles. ( 5 years and 3253 days ago )

jawshoewhah: Ok, Now that I know what we are looking for, I have a better idea what would be on theme. If that was put into the description to begin with (the triangles made of triangles) then there would have been less confusion. ( 5 years and 3252 days ago )
jawshoewhah: And they let us re-enter again when an entry has been removed. There was a time there they wouldn't let us enter after an entry was removed due to being off theme. ( 5 years and 3252 days ago )

I was just curious if this was some kind of cactus. Very nice shot and good choice for grayscale but I wouldn't expect less from an artist of your stature. Ya don't need it but GL!
