Make a plain black background.

Hide all layers except the candle and shoe.
Desaturate the shoe.
Mask out candle except for holder.
Make the holder wider to fit the shoe on it.
Desaturate the shoe, place it on the stand. Use the black part of the candle holder as a texture on the toe of the shoe.
Draw in some freehand lines to use a guide in order to turn the shoe into a high heel boot. Start covering the shoe with candle wax.
Desaturate the shoe.

Finish covering the boot shape with wax drippings and add the candle so it appears to be inside the boot. The shoe is now the candle holder.

Blur the lit edge of the candle and add some light around it by painting in a circle and blurring it.

Place the shopping bag beside the shoe.
Desaturate the bag and filter it with glowing edges filter.

Position elephant head into place, mask out feet and warp slightly to fit the bag onto the trunk.

Blur the bag and elephant slightly using motion blur and lower the opacity of both layers.

Add some color to the elephant and bag. Using basic strokes, smudge, smoke brushes and warp tools, paint in smoky outlines.

Add a bit of green color to the smoke swirls and render some lighting effects.
