Add clouds, darken using multiply, mask out lower edge to horizon line.
Paint in lightning using lightning brushes.

step 2 of 10

Cut out parts of radio to make car parts.
The straight gold lines on the radio were distorted into a circle using polarizing filter. Sections of the circle were cut out to make the steering wheel and the springs near the wheels.
A rectangular selection of the radio next to the right button was copied and made into tyre tread.

step 4 of 10

The front bumper was was made using the silver side of the radio.
The fenders were made by copying a circular section from the car body in step 3.
The circles were distorted using warp.

step 5 of 10

Tyres were made using the tyre tread which I made in step 2.
The fenders were transformed into shape using a mask. This was so the tyres could be seen.

step 6 of 10

The inner tyre hubs were made from the dark brown knob on the radio.
The axel was made using one of the straight gold lines on the radio. I desaturated it and lowered the exposure.
The silver bits which hold the bumper to the car were done with the same desaturated gold piece.

step 7 of 10

The Philips badge was placed on the grill.
Lights were made from the radio knobs.
Top of the seats were made from the cream radio buttons.
Steering wheel made from a gold line on the radio which was transformed into a circle using polarizing filter. This was desaturated and exposure was lowered.
Springs which I made in step 2 were added to the wheel area.
The curved poles which hold the headlights in place were made from the gold line which was tranformed using warp.

step 8 of 10

Mirrors were made from the radio knobs.
The poles which hold the mirrors were made from the same piece as the window surround on the car.
The lower car lights were brightened to look like the lights were on. I did this by duplicating the lights and using overlay.

step 9 of 10

Shadows and highlights were painted on the fenders to give them some shape.
Shadows from the headlights added to fenders.
A window divider was painted in freehand.
A wiper blade was made using the desaturated gold line which is cut out in step 2.
A cracked window was painted on using a crack brush.

step 10 of 10

Headlights turned on using overlay.
Headlight reflections added to fenders and road.
Headlight rays made by drawing lines and using radial blur.
Some dodge and burn in various places.
Duplicated the merged image and blended on multiply mode. Use a mask with a gradient to make the right side brighter and left side darker due to the lightning in the sky.
Add a silver cap to the hood. This was made from desaturating and transforming a piece of the car grill.
