Cut out the fan, I placed it at a almost white background, so using the "magic selecting tool" will be possible in this case.

cut the rope smooth and leave some of the rope outside the broomstick giving it the suggestion it goes around it. After that we make black holes in a layer underneat the robe endings.

Making the head bigger. too bad I did loose the top of this photo, but it was the best 1 to work with. So I cloned a part of the shoulder onto the head.

Placing the person. because this 1 had to be behind the vessel, it easy to use the select option of that layer, makes deleting sometimes real easy. You just hold the cntl key en r/click your mouse on the preview of your layer.

I did make it like this. with an extra shadow on the second hand-layer.
Later I removed it because the person was way to big in the scene.. so skip this step :)

Drawing lines, the best way is to use your pencil. Put 1 dot at the beginning, then hold the shift-key while placing the second dot at the end. The shift function will now place a line between punt 1 and 2. easy :)
