The main background. I had to rotate the image a little, since the original (from the source) was slightly tilted to one side.

Obviously, some work had to be done in order to make both layers blend. I played with levels, dodge and burn tools and a few other tricks.

He's had this head exchanged with one from a pug. Plus, a beautiful set of new wings grew from his back. I decided to change the hue of the wings, as their original colour (as seen in the source) was blue, so they didn't really stand out much.

Let's put everything together. I flipped the "pug-tterfly" picture horizontally so it would match the other image's lightning better.

The photographer shows up. I applied some filters on him so to make him blend better with the rest of the image. But we're not done yet...

This guy wasn't photographing a nice city landscape anymore. Actually, he was trying to take a picture of the rather uncommon "pug-tterfly", but apparently he forgot to charge his tablet's battery this morning during breakfast, so...
