Crop out car.

Cropped out beetles carapace and expanded size enough to cover car. Touched up some obvious spots.

Reduce opacity of carapace and line up over car.

Apply a mask over carapace area. Start painting areas that are not red with black brush fix mistakes with white brush.

After masking out most red areas and reducing carapace opacity.

Lowered saturation of the cropped car so that red reflections on chrome etc are muted.

Make pincer design from original beetle.

Tweaked pincer, removed spots, and enhanced curves.

Pincer placed on hood with reduced opacity. Warped some for perspective.

Crop out windshield and place on a top layer.

Place building and sky picture from second source. Crop and transform over car window.

Warp windshield pic then clip it to the windshield layer. Adjust with transform tools so it is warped some.
