These textures and bump maps for the trophy were made in CS5.

The shape for the inscription plate is one of the shapes provided with Photoshop. It was saved as a work path exported as an AI file. This shape in turn was imported into 3D Max and converted to an edit poly. The texture and bump maps shown here applied.

The maps for the opacity mapped planes. The diffuse color and opacity maps. These were placed onto "plane" geometries.

This is the wire frame for the trophy plaque. It consists of basic geometric shapes in Max, with the exception of the inscription plate. It is derived from the AI file made in PS and imported into Max.

This shape, for the mantle, was made using the line tool. It was converted to an edit poly and then extruded.

The extruded shape.

For the brick wall I used a "box"
geometry with alterations made to some poly's. To this I applied the brick texture (diffuse and bump) from CGTEXTURES.COM. A bump map of this texture was made using PS...the original image converted to black and white.

A Bump Map is a gray-scale image that is used to create more depth and detail. The darker the area the more recessed it appears whereas the lighter ares are are higher.
