A Work in Progress: Icy melt

first created achamfer boxx, then added a standard relax modifier and finally added a melt modifier with the settings in the picture.

then added a free form deformation modifier with a 3x3x3 net, and moved the middle point from each side to add more melt feeling.

now I drew a line using the spline tool in max and shaped it like a water spot, then added a garment maker modifier(surface modifier works too) then shelled it to make it thick and finally aplied turbosmooth the cut off the edges. all the modifiers are in their standard values

a few more spots, then I added water drops around the table, different in shape and size.

and I forgot to say that i've subtracted another box from the original chamferd box to give it the ice cube shape.

the water drops were scatered using the advanced painter tool.
