Cut out the mountains and duplicated it.
Flipped the duplicated site and made it one piece. Erased some parts i did not like.
Added the grass for the tower island.

Took the bottom part of the tower island and erased some parts of it. placed the trees for the little island on top of it.
With clone tool made the grass fill the island and the trees warp around it.
On a new layer, set to multiply with a black brush colored the grass to make it darker.

Cut out the two mountains.
With image adjustment, color match, matched the color of the blue island to the brown island.
placed them beside each other and distorted them.

Placed the islands on a new layer.
Inserted the background, and duplicated it set to multiply.

inserted the castle on the upper island. With layer mask deleted parts i did not want.
Added the stairs. With match color made it the same as the tower.
On a new layer with yellow color painted more light on the stairs.
On a new layer added some shadow to the left side of the stairs.

On the small island i added the girl, the tree and the tiger.

Added the mist layer. Duplicated it set to soft light.
Masked out unwanted parts.

Added shadows and hightlights to the tiger, girl and tree.

With layer mask tweaked the stairs to fit more into the castle. added some shadows.

On both islands with a vines brush, created some vines.
Duplicated one layer and warped it. Did this proces again and again so that it looked like a big vine was connecting the islands.
Did this twice, so i had two large vines connecting the island. With layer mask, masked out the bottom parts, so that they appear to be in the mist.

To blend all nicely added some adjustment layers.
Two orange yellow gradient fills.
An Underwater photofilter.
A sepia photofilter.

Added some birds into the sky. Addes some shadows on the castle island to blend the stairs more onto the island.
Found the little island a bit too bright, with a curves layer made it a bit darker. Added a soft shadow under the little island.
