1 - The basic shape was created using an apostrophe shape. The apostrophe was altered to have a tighter curl to the tail.
2 - The interior symbols were added using the quick shapes provided in Photoshop.
3 - The pinwheel was created by using the "transform again" command to replicate the apostrophe, moving it 20 degrees at a time with the pivot point set to the tail.
4 - Colours were created using different blending methods and gradients.
