Started with the baby image and extended the canvas for what I would require.

Added the man's face.

Used various adjustments to match the color of the face to the baby.

Added the hand.

Again I made color adjustments to match the hand to the baby.
step 6 of 8
Cloned the extra of the couch and removed the old hand. Also blacked out the distracting background.
step 7 of 8
Added the cigarette, smoke, tattoo and shadow of the arm.
step 8 of 8
Sharpened the image, made color adjustments and added a vignette to finish.
