All photos except turtle are my own. Sunset for background. I covered the trees with another copy of the same photo.

Clouds. First copy on screen mode about 50%. Second copy color burn to punch up colors.

Turtle parts for the "host" plus a little bit of the wood for the mustache to fill in the nose.

Arranged as I wanted and masked to make the clouds right, plus some dodge and burn and smudging to make the host look more lifelike.

Four more of my own pictures. The flowers were used to make the "watchdog" on the roof. The fern for additional arms on the host, and the picture of Vancouver for the city in the distance.
