First I cut the birds off the original layer and put them on their own individual layers.

I found an image in my collection that would work for what I had envisioned.
step 3 of 4
I positioned the birds over the new image, added blur, and re-sized as needed.
step 4 of 4
I added a final layer with a yellow color overlay and decreased the opacity to give the image a warmer feel.
