Firstly I opened the main image.

Then I imported the swamp guy onto my canvas and roughly positioned him.

After this, I used a layer mask to erase most of the background water from the swamp guy.
step 4 of 5
I used a colour layer to change the colour of the water to grey, as to blend better with the waterfall. I then painted black over the water using varying opacities to get the right effect.
step 5 of 5
I finalised the image by merging the swamp guy layers and repositioning him.
