Paste the source image (ship) onto an image of an iceberg.

Tilt the ship to make it appear to be sinking

Add three runners and a life raft.

Select pieces of ice from sources. Distort the shape and place on deck.

Usinga texture brush, erase parts of the ice so the deck shows through. Add shadows.

Paint on some water trails behind the lumps of ice.

Adjust position/size of runners. Darken the sky with gradients.

Turn the scene into night with levels adjustments.

Put some shadow on the runners.

Turn the speakers into lights by painting and radial gradients. Direct some light from ship onto the life raft with levels and hue/saturation adjustments.

Paste on the firework image.
step 12 of 13
Delete the background from firework image. Paint on a curving tail. Using smoke shaped brush, paint on some smoke behind the firework image using greys and reds.
step 13 of 13
Add some more ice to the edges of the deck. Brighten up the life raft. Turn on the low decking lights by adding a yellow glow between the grille.
Add some highlights to top of iceberg.
Refine lighting everywhere.
