Sketch done on paper, then scanned. Adjusted the levels and lowered the opacity to about 50% (sketch layer).

Details.
1. Still using the lamp shade, I transformed and warped it into position.
2. Taking an area from the base of the lamp on the source photo,
3. I added this beneath the lamp shade (1).
4. Added light using a soft round brush with the blending mode set to Hard Light.
This was also done similarly on the 2nd base.
5. Added some ventilation/slots on the walls of the bases (using the rim of the lamp shade).
