started with a basic bolded number 8.

rasterized the eight and used the perspective tool to distort it a bit.

cut out an eight shpe from the grass.

added the tree image.

added a background and a rainbow using the gradient tool.

added the hot air balloon and the clouds to the image. Used the burn and dodge tools to create some shadows and highlights. I also color corrected the image a bit using adjustment layers.
