Started with a sphere

Removed the lower half of the sphere, then flattened geometry.

Removed certain lines, then selected some for ripples
step 4 of 7
Created ripples using the move tool with a cylindrical falloff. This allows the center to move a greater distance than the edge of the selected ripple.

Modeled drip from the center of the circle... ended up adding another single drop above it.
