using pen tool, i drew out the game piece. simple shape... I chose an older version of the game pieces that look as though they were waving.
I then added shading and refection to give shape and form to the figure. I then duplicated the figure made it red and smudged out the hair to make it longer, as seen in the final steps.

Created a rainbow pattern using the gradient tool. then warped and liquified to create a path.

Added shading, texture, and put a plastic wrap on it to give it a candy-like look.

Added a couple layers of clouds. one white layer on top of a darker, pink, layer to give the look of depth.
The clouds were created using brushes. I am not sure of the exact brush pack as i have been collecting and compiling all of my cloud brushes into one large set, also about 12 different cloud bushes were used to create the desired effect.

Added the gumdrops along the path. duplicated and warped them to give them depth.

Added the suckers for flowers and some tall lollipops as trees lining the path.

Added in the Candy Land Sign that i created.
