Creation of The Overseer: Step 1

step 2 of 10

added the "greeble" modifier and played with some of the settings to get the greeble to the height I wanted.

Creation of The Overseer: Step 2

step 3 of 10

Opened Vue 9.5 and added the Acid planet atmosphere. Tweaked it a little.

Creation of The Overseer: Step 3

step 4 of 10

Once I'd imported the ship into Vue as an .OBJ file, I applied the excellent "Shield" material from Quadspinners Dark Knight collection.

Creation of The Overseer: Step 4

step 5 of 10

I added the sea, and altered the material, so the highlights were correct and the reflectivity of the water was correct. I made the water much darker than the default.

Creation of The Overseer: Step 5

step 6 of 10

I created a rather over complex hyper terrain for the alien girl to stand on. I did intend for the viewer to see more of it, however I decided for compositions sake that less was more and in the end you can only see the very tip of it.

Creation of The Overseer: Step 6

step 7 of 10

So into Daz 4.0 and just used the basic "Genesis" character. Posed her with a default pose from the daz kids collection of poses.

Creation of The Overseer: Step 7

step 8 of 10

Clothed her in the default "Magus" clothes, no alterations here. Exported the whole lot as an OBJ files and collected the maps for Vue to read.

Creation of The Overseer: Step 8

step 9 of 10

Used skinvue elite to change the skin texture of the character to a lizard/alien type skin. BTW The planet in the background is a default planet available in Vue. It's actually Mercury!
