Pieces of original apple were cut out and warped on with puppet warp or free transformed. Added embellishments using different brush shapes along with motion blur filtering

Brush work for more effects.Flattened image duplicated it and used Image>Adjustments>Shadow/Highlight on it to add contrast and bring up the brightness. Then copied this new layer and used Filter>stylize>Find Edges and set the layer blend to Divide
