First started by creating the pot.

Made by extruding the disc.

Then added a cone for the tree, and a sweeping helix that will become the tinsel.

Added some spheres for the baubles.

Made a star by lofting a star nurb and giving it some filleted caps.

Added some fur to the fir tree ;)

Added fur to my helix to make some tinsel. Then made some gist boxes for under the tree. Wrapped with my source material textures.

Setup my lights and camera and then... ACTION!
