I started off using a brush to create a space look/feel

I duplicated what I created in the previous step and flipped it vertically

I created a white circle using a lightly soft brush filled with white.

I added an inner glow and an outer glow to the white circle.

I cut out the portion of the aquaduct that I wanted.

I duplicated the aquaduct layer and placed then side by side creating what looks like a ladder, I also did some color correction.

I duplicated the layer twice.

I then used filter > distort > polar cordinates to get this effect.

I duplicated the layer from the previous step and flipped it vertically.

I merged the two layers together and color corrected the image.
