Place the some image that's for the butterfly body. The image might need to be resized and rotated

Add the first butterfly wing image. If necessary, rotate and resize the image. As we need to overlap the image, as smoke image usually is shot in black background, to reveal the shape of the smoke, we need to change the image blending mode into screen

Duplicate the first wing, rotate and resize if necessary. It's suggested to move the registration point to rotate the image at the end of the wing image where it becomes the pivot point

Keep duplicating, rotating and resize until the wings are shaped beautifully
