i found this method very useful..so this is how i removed the black feathers

those blending options affected some other areas(eye, beak...) so therefore on top same eagle head layer but without the blending options...and mask out or erase unwanted parts

then place scorpion tail, and i took part of the lizards leg just to add some texture on that tail..that single part is warped and copied several times on every segment individually

monkey head was placed over the eagle and masked out some parts gradually with brush at 20-30% opacity
