The wheels were selected and transformed in scale and perspective. A section of the hood was also copied and transformed using warp tool and puppet warp. The grill was copied and warped some along with a slight increase in size. A gradient was laid over the windshield and side light. There was also some repair made with paint brush, smudge and blur tools for blending.

With all transforms done to car it was recolored using the hue/sat colorize image adjustment layer. The parts of car I did not want colored Plum Crazy Purple were masked.

Car and fink placed onto the racetrack image. Repairs to my background done using clone, selections from source and some paint brush work. The smoke is brush work with smudging a slight drop shadow to the smoke layer. Shadows made using black color with gaussian blur layer blend mode multiply and opacity corrected. There were adjustments made to image such as levels, curves and shadow/highlight.
