A Work in Progress: Sketched Flower

Take away the background to sketch the foreground first

step 3 of 8

copy the layer and desaturate

step 4 of 8

copy the desaturated layer and invert

step 5 of 8

set blending of invert layer to color dodge. then filter-other-minimum with radius 1.

hold down alt then layer-merge layers.

set blending to multiply on the new layer

step 6 of 8

put oringinal on top of the layers and set blending to color and copy the layers under it until it is dark enough

on the background filter-artistic-colored pencil

step 8 of 8

copy the original over the layer and set blend to hard light
