A Work in Progress: Mammoth hatchling

new layer fill with base colour
new layer spotty brush large
fill with grey
new layer spotty brush large , pink - paint ,, garsblur.

cut out bonnet of car. light red rust only . cut a few different sections for variety.
cut out rectangle of stone ground
cut out yellow from post-screen right.

I can not draw so many of my creations are basic shapes then played with until i get a shape i am happy with.

warp and shape stone to create egg.
paint hand shapes then warp car part to cover painted shape..clip to painted shape and warp car shape more to give correct skin shaping and tone directions.

the mammoth was created the same way.. paint ears, head, cheeks, trunk, body - warp car parts and clip to painted mammoth parts.

1st clipped layer for elephant after dodge/burn is lowered to 56%

then clip another layer of car part... set layer blend mode to soft light.

ears are painted with a little FILTER_BLUR_ G" BLUR
there are 3 layers light pink, mid pink and dark pink.

eyes paint oval white, cut oval out of yellow source. paint black and white spots.
dodge the yellow to give colour and shape to eye.

EGG: cut in half so that you have a top and bottom of egg.

egg base.. darken with burn this wll become back half of egg.

add elephant

add another layer of egg for front dodge /burn for shape


add egg top dodge/burn for shape

add right hand and nails on hands.
