After put my bluish gesso on the blank canvas, I start to paint the whole waterfall scene with darker tones (i.e. Burnt Amber, Burnt Sienna, Vandyke Brown, Sap Green, Pthalo Blue & French Ultramarine).

Second mid-tones, I blended with Yellow Ochre, Flesh Tint, Titanium White, Naples Yellow.

Added minor details (branches on the upper left), stones on the water surface.

Added minor highlights & darker values to them.

I forgot to mention that I used Rembrandt Oil Colors, Winsor & Newton Quick-Dry Painting Medium & Van-Gogh Bristle Brushes variants.

Added Sakura to the upper left with Scarlet Red, Titanium White & Cadmium Red.

Added pair of birds on the rock (lower left).

Detailed everything.

P.S. - I thought the birds way TOO BIG. So I repainted them before I took a varnish to the canvas' surface for finalize my creation.
