Create a tall&thin box and put a sphere on its top ..... scale the sphere on the Z axis, and this is a match ....
for the Ashtray build a cylinder ... turn it to poly ... inset the top face and extruse it iside the shape ... Bridge some face to get cigarete palces ... then simply turbo smooth it .....
