First I made the head from a cylinder Adjust and extruded it to mach what an ant head looked like

I then Added 2 flattened sphere for the eyes. The Jaw was made by Extruding an outline of the jaw in then adjust for the jagged edges.

I made the antenna by extruding a cylinder.

I double sweep a circle along the path visible in the previous step to make the thorax and the part that attach the thorax to the abdomen. I did the same thing for the Thorax the middle piece and the abdomen.

I double sweep each leg with a circle profile and 2 lines representing the cross section of the leg then I extruded the claw at the end of the leg..

Rigged and posed for a shot and render in carrara 6.
