A Work in Progress: Hunting Knives

The blade stared as a cube, I made the top edge much wider, then an average middle and finally a short sharpened area, I used the point tools to create the knife point and then put some cylinders along the sides and booleaned them out to create decorative cuts.

Made a cube with a slightly smoothed edge and some inner extrudes

Threw on a hyper nurbs to create this shape, btw the material is actually pizza base but it works well to replicate a sort of cork texture I was after.

Threw it in a cloner object with 5 instances along the Zaxis

Threw on a hilt thingy and positioned it for final render.

Did the scene, I have made enough product stages now that I don't bother making a new one for each of my projects I just take one from a saved content browser in the program. Basically tho its an infinity curve created from a spline and extrude, with some three point lighting and a luminescent sky.

Added a couple other knives, just duplicated from the original with the knife point stabbed into the stage a little. FIN. :-)
