step 1 of 4

I drew a chibi of myself in Photoshop.

step 2 of 4

I turned the opacity down on the outside waving arms and drew motion lines. When that was done I started to color in my drawing.

step 3 of 4

I did the hair by putting a layer of yellow over the purple and smudging and blurring until I liked the way it looked.

step 4 of 4

The back drop is an optical illusion I learned to create in geometry. Start with a cross through the center then mark in regular increments either using the ruler on the side or on the cross itself so that there are the same number of points on each line. Then, using straight lines, connect the outside point of one line to the inner point of the other. Repeat, moving one point in on the first and one point out on the other until each pair is connected. Do this in the other three sections of the cross. When I finished doing that I colored it in a checker board pattern.
