i started off with a dark blue background, used various sized brushes in shades of blue to create a 3 shade of blue orb

i played around with the liquefy tool and came up with this cool rose looking design

i started building my bubble by making a circle from the marquee tool and filling it in with black and white
step 4 of 9
set the 1st layer to 33% opacity and created a new layer and lined it with white
step 5 of 9
put the previous layer to 45% opacity to make it look more like a bubble
step 6 of 9
added more bubbles and scaled them into various sizes
