make into a grid by rotating and erasing every other section (If you place a duplicate layer of the top layer below the rotated layer it moves quite fast, you can make a grid like this in less a couple of minutes

cut and chop piece out of the grid and flip them from all four sides

sphereize three times to get best sphere

repeat 5 times and rotate each slightly to create a solid texture sphere

use a rendered solid sphere or make one out of a round white marquee and blend the color sphere into it with hard light

the current active engine has a hard light dot in white blended into it with red outer glow.. use the color of the whale face cart as your guide for the glow
